Moving!

Hello Tumblr World,

So I apologize for going MIA - life got busy and I became a bad blogger. However, I’m back and have made the decision to move Boston Bliss over to Wordpress. I’ll still be posting a few things here and there on this site, but for more in-depth posts, be sure to check out Boston Bliss here: www.bostonblissdotcom1.wordpress.com (just have a little patience with me while I learn the ropes with wordpress, and get the blog back up and running)!

Love Disney’s animated short film, Paperman - enjoy!

Tis the season of giving….& baking!

I came across BakingForGood.com after seeing an article about the website, which donates 15% of net proceeds from your order to a charity of your choice (every month they choose a non-profit in all different categories to donate to). There were 2 cookie gifts that stood out the most for me right now: 1) Hurricane Sandy Relief cookies and 2) the custom image cookies!! Perfect idea for any dinner party with friends; everyone gets a treat & you get to give back to a great cause!

Music to my ears….

Recently I’ve been on a concert frenzy…. to date I’ve got 5 upcoming music festivities (2 of those in the summer but I count them now since my bank account is currently feeling the pain). First up is VHS or Beta (Nov. 29th), then Grace Potter and the Nocturnals (Dec 1st.), in January I have Emile Sande (Jan. 15th) - PS, for anyone who hasn’t heard her music, check it out on itunes NOW, you won’t be disappointed!

Then this summer my favorite country boys come back into town: Jason Aldean & Miranda Lambert (July 12th) and Kenny Chesney & Eric Church (Aug. 24th). For any other New England country lovers that are looking for concerts up here, I constantly check out Hard Rock cafe as well as Tobey Keith’s Bar in Foxboro for updates. They usually have pretty good ones in the winter/spring and the tickets are wicked affordable!

Tello & Rose

I came across this etsy shop through a good friend of mine (his wife is “Rose”), and immediately became enamored with the nautical-style jewelry line! At first I thought the bracelets and necklaces would make the ideal accessories for the summer, and recently I discovered she has released a new fall line! Check out the shop here:

St. Patrick’s Day attire by bostonbliss featuring oversized watches
As you all know, Red Sox season is quickly approaching!!! Thank the baseball gods - although many are questioning the outlook for the sox this season, us fans know to keep the faith (no matter how hard it is)…
Anyways, I came across www.seatgeek.com which I wish I found earlier in life, but that’s besides the point. This site essentially is like a search engine for events that you would need tickets for (concerts, shows, sporting events…). They find you the best offers that are currently online - doesn’t matter if you are looking months before, or day of. I’ll be checking this out daily this baseball season, and for a few country concerts I have my eye on.

Contemplating getting one of these bad boys as a little b-day gift for myself….might need to bite the bullet, especially since they are sold at the Tannery on Boylston which is right down the street from my office…
